Early Accomplishments

He was born in Los Angeles but went to high school in Santa Monica. After leaving high school, he attended American Film Institute Conservatory in LA and in 2006, he earned himself an MFA in Directing. He made a comedy short that year and it featured his stepfather.

His most notable works are Bye Bye Benjamin in 2006, The One I Love in 2014 and the 2015’s release, The Discovery which featured his girlfriend at that time, Rooney Mara.

In 2013, he also had his book Dear Girls Above Me published. The book is based on his very humoros Twitter timeline.
