Tatjana Patitz

Tatjana Patitz was one of the biggest supermodels of the late 1980s and early 1990s. Asides modeling, she has also found success as an actress.

Early Accomplishments

Right from the age of 7, Tatjana had learned to ride horses and joined horse camps and competitions while growing up.

At 17, she became 2nd runners up at the 1983 Elite Model Look contest and her modeling career kicked off, hitting a major landmark in 1985 as she was on the cover of British Vogue. 

Best Known For

Along with 5 other supermodels, she belonged to the elite class known as the “Big 6” with Kate Moss, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington and Naomi Campbell. Except Kate, they all appeared in George Michael’s Freedom! 90 music video.

She has also had major screen time in the films Rising Sun (1993) and Restraining Order (1999).

Sexual Orientation

Tatjana is straight and is best remembered for her 6-year relationship with singer Seal which ended in 2003. Before that, she had dated Pierce Brosnan in 1993 and had an affair with Johnny Depp in 1994.

Family

Although her parents are unknown, she has a younger sister named Sophie who also tried modeling but was not successful. She has a son Jonah, born in 2004 that she always tries to hide from the public eye.

Religion

Not much is known about her religious beliefs except for her interest in ancient Greek mythology and religion. She appears to be non-religious.

An animal lover, she lives on a Malibu ranch where she caters to 4 dogs, 2 cats and 4 horses.

She has also been a long-time vegetarian and an animal rights activist.
