Dayanara Torres is a definition of a diva. The ex-beauty queen is also a model, actress, singer, dancer, television host and author.

Early Accomplishments

She finished high school and intended to go to college to become an orthodontist but she was discovered walking in a park when she was 17 and was invited into pageantry.

She represented her hometown at the 1992 Miss Puerto Rico, won it and represented her nation at the 1993 Miss Universe and won. She made the semis at 1992 Miss International and was runners-up at 1992 Queen of the World contest. 

Best Known For

Before gaining much bigger infamy by marrying Latino pop superstar Marc Anthony, she is very famous among folks from Philippines where she was a celebrated actress and hosting a Sunday night TV show, ASAP Mania. 

In 1998, she dropped her album, Antifaz and “Dayanara” dolls, made in her likeness, were produced and sold in Philippines and Puerto Rico.

Sexual Orientation

Dayanara is straight and famously married Marc Anthony in 2000. 

The tumultuous marriage took a hit in mid-2002 when they split but they renewed their vows months later. That however, did not last as separation set in by 2003 and divorce was finalized in 2004. 

In 1995, she dated Filipino star Aga Muhlach for 4 years, Terence Howard in 2005 and Amaury Nolasco in 2007.

She is born to José Torres López and Luz Delgado and has a littler sister Jeannette and elder brothers José and Joey. 

She has 2 sons with ex-husband Marc who are Christian, born in 2001 and Ryan, born in 2003.
