Seal has risen from a treacherous life to being one of Britain’s most iconic Grammy award-winning singers of our generation.

Early Accomplishments

He earned a diploma in architecture and did odd jobs around London before joining and touring with the band Push in 1987.

After an unrewarding tourney through Japan, Thailand and India, he came back to England and met producer Adamski who gave him the lyrics of Killer to sing and he was on his way to stardom.

Best Known For

With 6 studio albums to his name, Seal rose to fame right from the start with songs such as Killer in 1990 and Crazy in 1991 before giving us the very renowned Kiss from a Rose in 1995.

He was a judge on the first 2 seasons of The Voice: Australia and winning coach on both occasions.

Sexual Orientation

Seal is straight and was infamously married to German hottie, Heidi Klum between 2005 and 2012; divorce was finalized in 2014. 

Before then, he had dated Tyra Banks in 1996 and Tatjana Patitz for 5 years from 1997. 

He also dated Australian socialite Erica Parker for a year in 2015.

Family

Born Seal Henry Adeola Olusegun Samuel, he is the child of Brazilian Francis Samuel and Nigerian Adebisi Ogundeji but he has raised by the Scooling family until he was 4. 

He has siblings Tanya and Jeymes “The Bullitts” Samuel. 

He is the father of Henry, Johan and Lou and his adopted daughter Helene from Heidi’s previous relationship.

Religion

Seal admits he was raised in the Christian faith and believes in God but he is not quite as religious.

Worth To Know

He suffered from discoid lupus while growing up and it has left him with the signature scars on his face and hair loss.
