Matthew F. Bair, better known by his professional name Matthew Koma, is a recording artist and producer, an award-winning songwriter and a DJ.
Early Accomplishments
Growing up around shake & move and punk music, Matt began writing music from the age of 9 and even landed himself a distribution bargain at the age of 16.
He was signed on to Interscope Records by Jimmy Iovine after watching him play an acoustic version of She. He released his debut EP, Parachute in 2012.
Best Known For
He wrote some of the songs on Zedd’s 2012 debut album including Spectrum and Clarity, the latter which became a Grammy Award winning song.
In 2014, he was featured on UK Dance chart-topping song Cannonball by Showtek and was also in Rediscovered video series by Kia Motors in 2015.
