Lea got acquainted with stage performance at an early age of 8. She began as a child actress and performed on Broadway. 

Best Known For

Lea has gotten the most recognition for her main role in the musical series Glee. Her role as Rachel Berry in the series has won her multiple awards including a Satellite award in 2010. 

Sexual Orientation

Lea is straight. In 2009, she began dating her co-star Cory Monteith and their relationship kept growing stronger until his devastating death in 2013. The death of her boyfriend left her completely heartbroken as it was a very difficult phase for her. Lea was raised in both a Christian and Jewish family. Her mother belonged to the Catholic denomination of Christianity while her dad is Jewish.
