Kelly Clarkson is an American singer and author. 

Early Accomplishments

Kelly got her initial music exposure through the first season of the American Idol and emerged the winner of the show back in 2002. 

Best Known For 

Her song My Life Would Suck Without You which she released in 2009 has attained more heights that her other singles. It became a number one single in the US, UK and Canada. 

Sexual Orientation

Kelly is straight. In 2012, she began dating her present husband Brandon Blackstock who she had already met 6 years ago. She recalls that from the first time she met him, she felt extremely attracted to him which had never happened to her before. Though this was not her first relationship, yet she says she was never really attracted to other guys she had dated and began to even think she was asexual. Kelly is a Christian. As a child, she grew up immersed in the Baptist denomination of Christianity and regularly attended church services twice a week.
