At the age of six, the boy first starred in the film Aasha and also he was seen in Aap Ke Deewane. Then he had a 20-year break in his career.

In 2000 he finally got the role that instantly made him famous. Hrithik’s father was looking for an actor for the main role in his film Say that you love! Rakesh decided to give his son an opportunity to show himself. In addition, he wanted to diversify the cast of Indian films. Hrithik Roshan received two Filmfare Awards for the film. 

Later, the actor starred together with such famous actresses as Aishwarya Rai and Priyanka Chopra.

Roshan is a father of two boys: Hrehaan was born in 2006 and Hridhaan saw the light in 2008.
