Kunal Nayyar

Kunal Nayyar is a London-born and India-raised film and theatre actor.

Early Accomplishments

After graduating from university, the future star moved to Los-Angeles where he was noticed at the stage for the first time. That was the play Hack & Holden. For his performance, the actor was given Back Stage Garland Award.

Best Known For

In 2007, Kunal appeared in a popular comedy sitcom Big Bang Theory playing the role of Raj Koothrappali. After the huge success of the series on TV, Kunal Nayyar got many offers from theatres and TV projects.

Religious Beliefs

Kunal Nayyar follows Hinduism. On his Twitter page, Kunal Nayyar is very conscientious about his faith and about other religions, but he says that religion is something very personal and it shouldn’t be oppressive.

The actor is straight. He is happily married to Neha Kapur (ex-Miss India).

Worth to Know

When he was studying math at 7-8 form he got not a pleasing impression of his teacher. The man used to take off his shoes and expose his feet, so Kunal couldn’t tolerate that.
