Early Accomplishments

He was only 13 when he began to write songs and began playing but his career kicked off when he was joined by 3 friends from school to form punk band, Noise Addict in 1993, recording a 4-track demo in his bedroom. After moderate success in Australia and the US, the band split in 1995 and he went solo. 

Best Known For

With 11 albums already released, Ben has become a huge success with albums like Breathing Tornadoes (1998), Awake Is the New Sleep (2005) and Ripe (2007). Some of his well-known songs include Cigarettes Will Kill You and Catch My Disease.

He starred in the 2003 film, Placid Lake.
