In middle school, his dad taught him BASIC program and in high school, he built ZuckNet to help his dad’s home and office computers sync.
While at Harvard, he created various social platforms but the most relevant of these was Thefacebook in 2004 which eventually became Facebook.

Known as the co-founder, president and CEO of globally famous social network Facebook, Mark soon hit the billion dollar mark in 2007, at 23 years.
Despite his magnanimous philanthropic acts across the world, he is estimated by Forbes to be worth $66.8 billion as of February 2019.
Sexual Orientation
Mark is straight and the only woman we know he has been involved with is his wife, Priscilla Chan whom he has been married to since 2012. They met each other at a frat party in Harvard in 2003 but only wedded the day she graduated from UCLA medical program in a backyard ceremony.
Family
Mark is the only son of the 4 children of Edward and Karen Zuckerberg with his sisters being, Arielle, Donna and Randi.
He is the father of 2 beautiful daughters; Maxima (born 2015) and August (born 2017).
Religion
Although born and raised as a reformed Jewish and even had a bar mitzvah, Mark became an atheist in his later years. He has since renounced his atheism, saying “religion is important”. He embraced his wife’s religion, Buddhism as well as Christianity.
Worth To Know
By high school, Mark was already fluent in Hebrew, ancient Greek, Latin and French. He also learned to communicate in Mandarin in less than 4 months for his wife family.
