Kristen Wiig is a popular Hollywood comedy actress. 

Early Accomplishments

She got her first acting experience being a student at University of Arizona. That was terrifying moment for the girl. 

Being young and inexperienced, Wiig joined The Groundlings – sketch-comedy group. There, she became a main company member. 

In 2007, Kristen starred in Knocked up. That was her acting debut. 

Best Known For

Despicable Me and Bridesmaids, that were released in 2011, brought Kristen wide success, though she was already established as a popular actress. After Bridesmaids, Miss Wiig was nominated for a prestigious award such as Golden Globe for Best Actress-Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy.

She is known for her long-term participation in SNL project. However, in 2012, the actress starred in its final episode for her. For her role on SNL she even won an Emmy nomination in 2009.
