Early Accomplishment

Randy had taken an interest in acting from high school. During his university days, on his teacher’s directive, he tried out for a movie and landed a part in The Last Picture Show in 1971.

Best Known For

Out of Randy’s various appearances, the very highly notable of these are his characters in The Last Detail in 1973, Independence Day in 1996, Home On The Range in 2004, Brokeback Mountain in 2005 and Real Time in 2008. His award winning feats came from playing Pres. B. Johnson in LGJ: The Early Years in 1987 and Colonel Tom Parker in Elvis in 2005.
