Joan Cusack

Joan Mary Cusack is an American actress, a prodigy of the Cusack acting pedigree. She is probably the most comical and the most unsung actresses of our time.

Early Accomplishments

Surrounded by a family of thespians, it was natural for her to become one herself. She got some training at Piven Theatre Workshop and was able to feature in 2 movies before she graduated from college in 1985. She was 18 years when she got a supporting role in My Bodyguard and Sixteen Candles at 22.

Best Known For

She is celebrated for movies such as Addams Family Values in 1993, Grosse Pointe Blank in 1997 and Runaway Bride in 1999. She has done voice overs for animated movies such as Toy Story and Chicken Little. Movies such as Working Girl in 1988 and In & Out in 1997 and TV series Shameless between 2011 and 2015 have earned her major accolades.

Family

Dick and Nancy Cusack are her parents and she has brothers John and Bill and sisters Susie and Ann.
