One of Stephen's earliest work as a director was seen through the 1985 action-drama film titled Certain Fury.

His incredible work as a director of this film earned him a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. Most recently, he directed a movie titled So B. It, which was based on a Sarah Weeks novel.
