She has attained much recognition for portraying the Annie character in The Juror. This 1996 film won her a People's Choice Award. She is just brilliant in 1997 movie G.I. Jane. Most recently, she was Claudia in the musical series, Empire.

Demi is straight. For 5 years in the early 80's, she was married to the rock musician Teddy Moore. 

2 years after their divorce was finalized, she tied the knot with the famous actor Bruce Willis. However, this union also fell apart after 3 years.
