Bonnie Bedelia

Bonnie Bedelia is a brilliant American actress. 

Early Accomplishment

Bonnie's screen acting career was launched in the late 50's when she featured on the drama series, Playhouse 90. By 1969, she branched into movie acting through the film, The Gypsy Moths. 

Best Known For

For the past 6 decades of her career, Bonnie has attained the most recognition through the television series, Parenthood. In 1984, she got a Golden Globe Award nomination for her impeccable portrayal of the Shirley character in the film, Heart Like a Wheel. 

Sexual Orientation

Bonnie is straight. In the late 60's, she got married to Ken Luber, a scriptwriter. However, they got divorced after 11 years. At some point, she was also married to the musician, Jay Telfer. 

Family

Bonnie's parents are Philip Culkin and Marian Ethel. Through her brother, Kit Culkin, she has 3 nieces and 5 nephews, among who include popular actors, Macaulay, Kieran and Rory Culkin. For over 2 decades, she has been married to the actor, Michael MacRae. From her marriage to Ken, she had 2 sons, Uri and Jonah. 

Religion

Bonnie is a Christian, under the Catholic denomination. She is not very outspoken when it comes to her religious views, therefore, we cannot confirm how devoted she currently is to her faith. However, in the mid 70's, she named her second son after a character from the Bible.

Though most of her fans think Bonnie's surname is Bedelia, it is actually her middle name and her surname is Culkin.

She won a Theatre World Award in 1967.
