Anna Paquin is a talented actress who was born in Canada and brought up in her mother native country New Zealand. 

Early Accomplishment

Anna's acting career was launched with a big bang at the age of 11 in 1993 when she featured in the film, The Piano. This impeccable portrayal of the Flora character quickly led her to the limelight as she won an Academy Award, a Los Angeles Film Critic Award and an Australian Film Critic Circle Award. 

Best Known For

Through her 25 years in the limelight, Anna has attained the most recognition through the drama series, True Blood. Her role in this series has earned her a Golden Globe Award, 2 Satellite Awards, 2 Scream Awards and a Women's Image Network Award.

Anna is bisexual. Over the years, she has been romantically connected to various American actors, among who include, Joaquin Phoenix, Logan Marshall-Green and Kieran Culkin. In interview to Larry King she said that being married doesn't change the fact that she loves women and men.

Anna officially became a member of the Moyer family in 2010 as her and the actor, Stephen Moyer, tied the knot. The couple's marriage seems to be thriving and they have a set of twins, Charlie and Poppy. Anna also has 2 stepchildren, Billy and Lilac.

Her brother is film director, producer Andrew Paquin.
