John David Washington

John David Washington is an American actor, producer and former football player.

At the early age of 9, John already began showing a passion for acting and eventually got a role in the 1992 movie, Malcolm X alongside his dad. However, acting was not his only talent and he went ahead to create a successful career in American football.

Growing up, John was instilled with Christian values as his father is a very devout Christian who grew up as a Pentecostal preacher's child and even considered becoming a preacher himself. John has remained in his childhood faith and is also a devout Christian. He acknowledged that the reverence he has for God is the source of his courage.
