Taylor's musical career was launched in 2006 with her first album titled Taylor Swift. This album became a success and sold about 5.7 million copies in the US alone. 

In 2009, she got introduced into an acting career through an episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

Currently, Taylor has gotten the most recognition from her new album titled Reputation which was released towards the end of 2017. Within a month, this album had already been ranked as a number one album in the UK, US, Australia, Canada, Ireland and New Zealand.
