The actor took part in plays when he was at school. He was good at acting but it took some time for him to understand whether it was his cup of tea or not.
“Acting on screen was always something I wanted to do, but the bread and butter stuff that kept me going was stage work, first at school and university, then professionally after my formal acting training.” - Shared Dan in the interview.
