Portia De Rossi is an American actress and TV personality. She is also a spouse of the TV host Ellen DeGeneres.

In 1994, she dropped out from university as she was offered a role in Sirens comedy film. That role was widely acclaimed by the customers as she appeared completely naked.

After having moved to America, Portia needed a role that would introduce her to the American audience. That time she starred in Ally McBeal, but the series was closed in 2002. For that project she and the other cast got Screen Actors Guild Award. She played Elizabeth North in TV series Scandal (2014-2017).
