Mike Epps is an American actor, writer, stand-up comedian and rapper.

In 1995, Mike got launched into comedy joining the Def Comedy Jam tour. His first movie role came two years later through the film Strays.

Mike has received the most recognition for his role in the movie The Hangover.

Mike is straight. While shooting the 2003 film Fighting Temptations, he met his co-actor Mechelle McCain who was soon to be his wife. 3 years after they met, the couple got married and have had a thriving marriage; well, at least to the eyes of the world. After about 10 years of marriage, Mike filed for a divorce just about the same time his wife saw he asked a lady to send him a direct message via Twitter. Mike is non-religious. As a child, he was not raised in a religious setting and his parents did not attend church. Nevertheless, he refers to himself a God-fearing instead of being a Christian. He also believes in God, who he recalls helped him out in tough times and guides him according to his (God's) will. He also believes that there is a spirit who wakes him up each day and protects him.
