Jeff Horn is an Australian professional boxer. 

Early Accomplishments

In 2009, he won his first title and at Helsinki in 2011, he earned a silver medal during the Gee-Bee Tournament. 

Best Known For

Jeff is mostly recognized for defeating Manny Pacquiao and earning the World Boxing Organisation welterweight title. This was his first worldwide title.

Jeff is straight. He met his wife Johanna back in their high school days. Jeff and Jo became really good friends in the 8th grade but only until their graduation year did they begin dating. 2 years after high school, the cute couple got married. After defeating Manny Pacquiao during the Battle of Brisbane in July, he announced to the world that though he was overwhelmed by his victory, yet the joy that he would be a father in some months could not be explained.

Jeff was named after his father. 

Throughout his professional career, Jeff has won most of his fights and lost only a few. During the 2012 Olympics held in London, he lost to a Ukrainian boxer Denys Berinchyk, at this time he was still pursuing a degree in education. This year, he was awarded the Sport Australia Hall of Fame Don Award. 

In order to defend himself from bullying during his youthful age, Jeff began boxing.
