Just a few months after Ashley was born she kicked off a career as an actress. Her first role was in the television series Full House where she featured in for 8 years. During her time on the show, Ashley had a joint role with her twin sister Mary-Kate.

In 2004, Ashley ended her acting career with her last role in the movie New York Minute. Her sister went on to continue her career solo. While she was yet a child, she became the CEO of the entertainment company, Dualstar. It produced most of their movies and shows together including It Takes Two.
