Mo Farah

Mo Farah is a British athlete originally from Somalia. 

Early Accomplishments

In 1996, he competed in a school cross country race where he emerged 9th. 2001 was the year his entire career fully began to escalate. He won the European Athletics Junior Championship for a 5000 meters race and commenced training at St. Mary's University. 

Best Known For

The peak of Mo Farah's career came as a result of winning the 2010 European Athletics Championships. The same year he emerged as the first British athlete to run a 5000 meters race under thirteen minutes. He is also known for winning 4 Olympic gold medals. 

Sexual Orientation

Mo Farah is straight. In 2010, he got married to Tania Nell. The couple have 2 twin daughters and a son together. Mo is also a stepfather to Tania's daughter from previous marriage.

At the early age of 8, Mo Farah was tragically separated from his twin brother leaving his home country with his elder brothers in hopes for a better life in England with his father. Mo's twin Hassan states that in their young age, they were an inseparable pair. They ran and took part in other athletic activities together.
