Edward succeeded in production sphere. In 1993, he founded his own production company named Ardent Productions using the name Edward Windsor. His company works mostly on documentaries, especially about the royals. However, in 2002, Edward stopped running the Ardent Productions and concentrated on his royal duties. 

Edward is deeply involved into Duke of Edinburgh Award. He promotes the award by traveling across Britain and overseas.
