Prince Andrew

Prince Andrew is the Duke of York. He is the middle son of Queen Elizabeth II and is the 4th in the line to the throne. 

Early Accomplishments

After having graduated from college, Prince Andrew joined the Royal Navy, where he became an officer and later on – a pilot. In 1984, Prince Andrew was promoted to lieutenant. 

Best Known For

When the Prince finished his military service, he was offered a position of a Special Representative for International Trade and Investment. At this position he was working on improvement of British export capacities and investment. 

Nowadays, Prince Andrew is helping the British youth to become economically stable and independent by promoting vocational learning. He also encourages the growth of entrepreneurship as it will increase the amount of working places. 

Religious Beliefs

Prince Andrew is Anglican as all Royal family members. 

Sexual Orientation

Prince Andrew is straight. He married Sarah Ferguson in 1986, but they divorced in 1996. Despite their separation, both are devoted parent for their two children: Princess Beatrice (1988) and Princess Eugenie (1990). 

Worth to Know

Though Prince Andrew seems to lead a calm life, there was also a scandal involving his royal name. A woman named Virginia Roberts claimed that in 2001 she was made to spend some time with Prince Andrew as a prostitute being just 17 years old.
