Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon known as Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother was the spouse of King George VI and the mother of Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Margaret.

Early Accomplishments

In 1904, Elizabeth became Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon as her dad got his Earldom. She was a descendant of Scottish Royal House. 

Being a teenager, Elizabeth assisted the nurses during the WWI when their castle was turned into hospital.

Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother was known for her courage during the WWII when she refused to leave the king and her daughter and stayed in the country instead of being evacuated to America. 

Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother was famous for her world tours. Being a queen, she visited many countries all over the world. By the way, she was fluent in French (as well as her daughter Queen Elizabeth II), so she didn’t need any side help for communication.
