Jared Followill

Jared Followill is professional musician, bassist and the youngest member of 'Kings of Leon' - Nathan Followill, Caleb Followill, Matthew Followill. 

Early Accomplishments

Jared Followill studied at Mount Juliet High School.

He had no idea how to play bass, but was invited by his brothers to join ‘Kings of Leon’ as bass guitar player. Jared didn't have much time to think and became a member of the band at the age of sixteen.

Best Known For

As a baby member of 'Kings of Leon', Jared's most successful album became 'Only by the Night', which came out in 2008. Worth to mention, 'Only by the Night' became platinum in United States of America and Australia.

'Sex on Fire' and 'Use Somebody' are hit singles from the 'Only by the Night' album.

As a member of 'Kings of Leon' Jared Followill released in 2011 documentary called 'Talihina Sky'. This film tells a story about life and career of each Kings of Leon’s member.

Jared Followill is Christian. He was raised in a family and environment were rock-music was not allowed.
