Before becoming an actress, Kristin Kreuk used to do gymnastics and karate at professional level.

In 2001, Kristin Kreuk was offered a role in a popular series Smallville. In the series she portrayed the role of Lana Lang – a love object of the main character. That role was a real rapid start-up for the young actress, as after that she had numerous invitations and interviews.
