Kyra Sedgwick is a gorgeous actress of American television and cinematography. 

Early Accomplishments

Kyra Sedgwick’s mother was the person who encouraged the daughter to get closer to art. She was a friend of many celeb artists and actors, so already at the age of 12, small Kyra took part in the school play Fiddler on the Roof.

When she turned 16, young Sedgwick was a ready-made actress and got the role in a soap-opera Another World.

Best Known For

A major step forward in her career was made when the actress landed a role in a Broadway performance Ah, Wilderness! by Eugene O'Neill.

In 2005, TNT drama The Closer was released with Kyra Sedgwick in a leading role. That was another trampoline of her career. 

Religious Beliefs

The actress is straight. In late 80’s she got married to Kevin Bacon whom she had met at the shooting of Lemon Sky. The couple has a son and a daughter.

Huffingtonpost (06/16/2010) shared some spicy and at the same time funny details about the birth of Kyra’s son Travis. During her honeymoon with Bacon, the actress agreed not to use birth control, as she was sure it could not happened that fast. As a result, she got pregnant within two weeks.  

For the film War and Love (1985), slender actress had to lose 20 pounds (9 kg).
