In 1986, Oldman appeared in the film Sid and Nancy that brought him fame among wide audience. His portrayal of Sid, as a punk rocker, was accepted for 100%.
The following year, when the actor appeared in Prick up Your Ears as Joe Orton (a playwright with non-traditional orientation), a new wave success was waiting for him.
In 1992, Gary Oldman played the role of Dracula in the film Bram Stroker's Dracula.
Harry Potter’s fans remember him as Sirius Black (Harry’s godfather). This contract was signed in 2000’s.
