Fred Dryer is an American actor and a former football player of National Football League.

Early Accomplishments

Fred stated his athletic career while studying at Lawndale High School. There he used to play basketball and football and did that rather successfully. 

In 1966, he was chosen as the Athlete of the Year at El Camino Junior College.

In 1969, Fred Dryer became the first round draft-pick of the New York Giant. 

In early 80’s the actor appeared in the series Cheers as Dave Richards. 

Best Known For

Probably, Fred Dryer is best known for his role of Rick Hunter in the popular series Hunter, starring since 1984 till 1991. 

Besides, he appeared in Land’s End series between 1995 1996. 

In 1990’s, the actor founded his own production called Fred Dryer production. 

In 2003, he was awarded a Career Achievement Award by the NFL Alumni.

When it came to the game, Fred put everything aside – even pain and damages, because his success and victory were higher.
