Jamie Cullum is a British musician, pop -jazz singer, and songwriter.  

Early Accomplishments

His first active year was in 1999 when he released his Heard It All Before, which was recorded in 500 copies. Despite the small release, his work was noticed and led to an invitation to participate in Songs of the Summer by Geoff Gascoyne.

Best Known For

His second album was released in 2002, after graduation from Reading University. An album Pointless Nostalgic got noticed by famous broadcasters and later was invited to make an appearance in Parkinson. 

He is widely known for hosting a jazz show on BBC Radio 2.

He is happily married to the model Sophie Dahl. The couple tied the knot on January 9, 2010. They raise two daughters Lyra and Margot.

Cullum was born in Rochford and has a mixed ancestry. His father John is Jewish and worked in finance, while his mom, Yvonne worked as a secretary and has Indian and Burmese roots.

He was raised alongside his brother Ben who grew up to be a musician as well.
