As a child, Leslie dreamed of a career as a television weather forecaster. 

She, like her mother and sisters, was tall and began to play basketball, although at first without much enthusiasm.

Lisa took the center position and played very well, scoring efficiently, picking up rebounds under the basket and giving assists. Soon basketball became her passion.

Best Known For

Lisa played for the Los Angeles Sparks team from the women's NBA for 12 seasons.

She is a two-time WNBA champion and three-time WNBA Most Valuable Player.

As part of the US national team, Leslie became an Olympic champion four times and a two-time world champion.
