Lena Headey

Lena Headey is an English actress.

Early Accomplishments

Lena was fond of fashion and styling very much and she wanted to have a career as a stylist when she was a teenager. But at the age of 17, she was noticed by a casting agent and she took a chance to become an actress.

Best Known For

Headey is mostly known for portraying a ruthless and power-hungry queen Cersei Lannister in a cult fantasy drama television series Game of Thrones. 

The actress also starred in the following TV series: Band of Gold, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Infinity Train.

As for her movies career, she can be seen in The Brothers Grimm, 300, Dredd, 300: Rise of an Empire, and others. 

Sexual Orientation

Lena is straight. She was married to musician Peter Loughran from 2007 to 2013. The two welcomed a boy in 2010. He was named Wylie. 

Then, in 2015, the actress gave birth to another kid – a girl named Teddy. Lena’s childhood friend Dan Cadan was the father. But the couple ended their relationship in 2019.

Headey is from the UK. She was born in Bermuda in the family of Sue and John Headey. Lena has a younger brother, Tim.
