Gianna Bryant

Gianna Bryant was the daughter of outstanding Kobe Bryant who died together with him in the winter of 2020.

Early Accomplishments

Gianna went to the Sierra Canyon School in California and played for the girls’ basketball team. She dreamt of becoming a basketball star the same as her dad. Since the love for basketball was in her blood, it is not surprising that the girl decided to follow in her father’s footsteps.

Best Known For

The girl is known to be the one who passed away together with her father, who was known under the nickname Black Mamba, in a helicopter crash in January 2020 in California.

Sexual Orientation

Gianna’s orientation is not known. Supposedly, she was straight. 

Family

The girl was born in California into a star family: Kobe Bryant and Vanessa Laine Bryant. Her father was a pro basketball player. Her mother is a model and a businesswoman. Kobe and Vanessa welcomed four kids together. Gianna was the second child in the family.

Gianna Bryant was Catholic, the same as her parents and her sisters.

Gianna had a pet-name Gigi. 

The girl was the biggest fan of her father. She planned to enter the University of Connecticut and one day make it to the WNBA.

In one of her interviews, Gigi revealed that she could play basketball so well that she could easily beat her father. 

Bryant could speak three languages: Mandarin, Spanish and English.

She was a very loving and caring big sister and her family could always count on her when they needed help. 

The girl was present at her father’s final game in 2016. After he retired, he was coaching her.
