Eli Manning

Eli Manning is an American football player, a former quarterback of the New York Giants in the National Football League.

Early Accomplishments

Manning’s love for sports appeared when he was a teenager. The boy started playing football already at the university. While being in the varsity team, Eli set or broke forty-five different records. 

Best Known For

The 2008 Super Bowl is rightfully considered the main episode in Manning's sports career. As a result of the game, he was named Most Valuable Player in the Super Bowl and was honored to speak with the President of the United States, George W. Bush. Also, for the victory, he was given the opportunity to choose any car of the Cadillac class.

Sexual Orientation

Eli is straight. He is married to his college girlfriend, Abby McGrew. The two tied the knot in 2008. They gave birth to three girls and a boy in their marriage.

Eli’s father, Archie Manning, is the former NFL quarterback. His mother is Olivia Williams.

Eli is the youngest child in the family. Peyton, his brother, is a retired pro football quarterback. 

Manning is a father of four kids. His daughters are Ava Frances, Lucy Thomas, Caroline Olivia, and his son is Charles "Charlie" Elisha. 

Religion

The Manning family is quite religious. But Eli doesn’t seem to be carrying that torch, or maybe he is just quiet about it.

Together with his brother, the sportsman was actively involved in helping the victims of Hurricane Katrina - he organized the delivery of thirty thousand pounds of water, pillows and baby food to the victims.
