Neil Fingleton used to be an English actor and a basketball player. He was famous for his height (7 ft 7.56 in) and was a record-holder in several tallest man nominations. He passed away in 2017 because of heart failure.
Early Accomplishments
In his youth, Neil became interested in basketball. After high school, he acquired a basketball scholarship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and later at College of the Holy Cross. He debuted in the ABA and played successfully for different teams until the injury. He quit basketball in 2007.

Fingleton’s height made him famous. In 2007 Guinness World Records confirmed he is one of 25 world tallest men.
