Larenz Tate

Larenz Tate is an American actor famous both for his TV and movie roles. 

Larenz Tate had drama lessons along with his two brothers. He debuted in The New Twilight Zone in 1985 and had a part in 21 Jump Street TV series which aired in 1987. He got his first movie role in The Women of Brewster Place (1989).

Best Known For

Tate is famous for playing O-Dog in Menace II Society (1993) directed by Albert and Allen Hughes. The movie was intended for a teen audience and Tate himself was 16 years old. Menace II Society is considered to take his career to a new level.

His other notable role is Peter in Crash drama movie (2004).

He also gained popularity for having a part in Power series which aired in 2014. In the series, he had a chance to play siblings with his actual brother.

Larenz is straight. He was dating Tee Ashira in 1998 and Karrine Steffans in 2001. Since 2006 he is married to Tomasina Parrott.

Family

Tate’s parents are Peggy and Larry Tate. He has two brothers who are also engaged in acting. With his wife, Larenz has four children. His three sons are Miles Xavier (b. 2006), Zander (b. 2008), and Zion (b. 2013). Larenz hasn't shared any information about his fourth child yet.
