Lara Flynn Boyle

Lara Flynn Boyle is an American television and movie actress and producer.

She started her acting career with a small role in Ferris Bueller's Day Off comedy (1986) by John Hughes. However, all the scenes she took part in were excluded from the final version of the movie.

Before her first notable role in Poltergeist III (1988), Lara had a part in Amerika miniseries (1987), Jack and Mike (1987), and Sable (1987) series.

The actress acquired world recognition after she was cast for the role of Donna Hayward in the pilot episode of Twin Peaks TV series (1990-1991). She played a teenager who was digging the truth about her best friend's murder. 

Lara is straight. She dated Kyle MacLachlan who was also playing in Twin Peaks. She married John Patrick Dee III in 1996. However, their relationship did not last long. After the divorce, the actress had a relationship with David Spade (also an actor) and Jack Nicholson. In 2006 Lara married an investor Donald Ray Thomas II.

Lara’s parents are Sally Flynn who was a manager at the time of Lara’s childhood and Michael L. Boyle. Her grandfather from the father’s side used to be the U.S. Representative.

The actress does not have children.

Religion

Lara encounters to be non-religious. Such an attitude came from her negative experience with religious mentors in her childhood. The actress had an Irish Catholic upbringing.
