A solo career of the American rapper Common started with the work “Can I Borrow a Dollar?” in 1992 that he released as Common Sense.
Early Accomplishments
His birth name is Lonnie Rashid Lynn. 
He decided to start rapping at school and created his own band “C.D.R.”. “I remember when I was young and I first started rapping, I hadn’t embraced my voice yet,” he shared in the interview to Men’s Fitness, “finding my voice was like finding myself...”
