Tamar Braxton is a Grammy recognized singer as well as an actress and famed TV talk show host and personality.

Early Accomplishments

She began singing right from her childhood by joining the choir in her dad’s church and later in her teenage years, joined her sisters in The Braxtons, even releasing an album with them in 1996 titled So Many Ways.

Best Known For

She earned 3 Grammy nominations for her 3rd solo album, Love and War (2013) and another one for her hit single, If I Don’t Have You (2015).

Outside music, she won the 2019 edition of Celebrity Big Brother and has earned 2 Daytime Emmy nominations for co-hosting The Real between 2013 and 2016.

Tamar is straight. Her 2008 marriage to Vincent Herbert ended in a 2017 divorce. They began dating in 2003 and their union was documented on Tamar & Vince (2012-17), their reality series.

She was also previously married to Darrell Allamby in 2001 for 2 years and is now said to be dating a man known as T’Challa since 2018.

Born as the youngest child of Michael and Evelyn Braxton, she has Michael Jr. as her only brother and Toni, Traci, Towanda and Trina as sisters. In 2013, she became a mom to son, Logan Herbert.
