Zach Braff

Zach Braff is a very talented man of entertainment. He has won many awards as an actor, screenwriter and filmmaker.

Early Accomplishments

He gained his skills as an actor at the Stagedoor Manor as a youth as he made a debut, albeit in an unaired pilot of High in 1989 but appeared in a 1990 episode of The Baby-Sitters Club, aged 16.

In his high school senior year, Zach made his feature film debut in Manhattan Murder Mystery (1993) as Nick.

Best Known For

His best known role happens to be as JD in the widely followed medical sitcom, Scrubs (2001-10), a role that earned him 3 Golden Globe nominations.

Asides winning a Grammy for his soundtrack compilation for a film, he was also producer, director and star of 2004 blockbuster, Garden State.

Zach is straight. He is currently dating Florence Pugh in 2019 after breaking up with Taylor Bagley whom he dated for 5 years from 2009. He also dated Mandy Moore in 2014 for 2 years and Shiri Appleby for a year in 2007. Others are Sarah Chalke and Bonnie Somerville.

Family

He is the youngest of (since divorced) Harold Braff and Anne Brodzinsky’s children, with his siblings being brothers Adam and Joshua and sister Shoshanna. He is now a stepson to Elaine Braff and has Jessica Kirson.

Religion

Although he revealed he is not so much into organized religion, Zach regards himself a Jew and has stated that he had a solid Conservative/Orthodox childhood.
