Who is DJ Khaled?

The man known as DJ Khaled is one of the most famous faces on the hip hop scene. He is a DJ of global renown but is also a songwriter, record producer and executive.

Early Accomplishments

He picked up music from his parents who are musicians but rather than their Arabian music, he delved into rap and soul music with his parents’ support.

Going by the alias “Arab Attack”, he began deejaying across New Orleans and in 1998, he relocated to Miami and began co-hosting WEDR 99 Jamz’ The Luke Show.

Best Known For

Known originally as the official DJ and hype man of the East Coast rap crew, Terror Squad, DJ Khaled has become a force in the industry with 11 albums and counting. Some of his many hits over the years include I’m So Hood, No Brainer, All I Do Is Win, Wild Thoughts and I’m The One.

DJ Khaled is straight and got married to his sweetheart and unofficial business manager, Nicole Tuck in 2019. The couple had been dating for almost 12 years and got engaged right after the birth of their baby.

He is born Khaled Mohamed Khaled to Palestinian migrant parents and he has a brother, Alaa Khaled (aka Alec Ledd). He and his wife became parents to son, Asahd (born 2016) and another son Alam was born in January 21, 2020.
