Who is Alexis DeJoria?

Although now retired, Alexis DeJoria was one of the best female drag racers in the nation and possibly, the world.

Early Accomplishments

She kicked off an illustrious drag racing career in 2005 by entering the Super Gas category before advancing to a Super Comp dragster. She won the Sportsman Nationals in 2006 and compeed in the NHRA TA/FC for the next 2 years.

Best Known For

She has won the NHRA Top Fuel Funny Car series 5 times, driving a Camry (Toyota) for Kalitta Motorsports and set a new second pass record of 3.998 seconds at the National Hot Rod Association Summernationals in 2015.

Sexual Orientation

Alexis is straight. She met Jesse James midway through 2012 and got engaged after 5 months of dating, exchanging their vows in March of 2013, 4 months on. She was previously married but the details of this are concealed by her.

Family

She is the child of businessman, John Paul DeJoria and Jamie Briggs. Although we still hope to hear of her child with Jesse, she is already a mother of teenage girl, Isabella (born 2003) from her previous marriage.

Religion

There is no indication that Alexis is a religious person has she has not said anything or shown a tendency to a religion ever.

Worth To Know

Asides drag racing, Alexis has had the pleasure of being featured in a movie. Her first and only appearance (till date) has been in Snake and Mongoose in 2013.

She is only the 2nd woman ever to win a top alcohol division national event.

In 2017, she declared she is retiring from her drag racing career.
