Jared Harris has grown into one of the most experienced and skilled British actors in Hollywood and Broadway/West End.
Early Accomplishments
After most of his education in the UK (he attended the same schools with his brothers), he bagged a BFA from Duke University in 1983 where he directed an unfinished film.
He made his feature film debut in The Rachel Papers (1989) and soon played the lead character in both parts of Henry IV at The Public Theater in 1991.
Best Known For
Of all the TV series he has starred in, his roles in The Crown (2016-17) and Mad Men (2009-12) have been the most critically acclaimed with the later even bagging an SAG Award.
His most famous film roles have come in Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011), The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013) and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008).

He is the second son of the 3 of Irish actor/singer Richard Harris and Elizabeth Rees. His older brother is filmmaker-actor, Damian Harris and his baby brother is actor Jamie Harris. He is also cousin to actress Annabelle Wallis.
