Chris Evans

Chris Evans is one of America’s foremost actors in the industry today after several riveting performances in a series of Marvel films.

Early Accomplishments

After high school, he relocated to New York and studied at Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and in 1997, got a first screen appearance in a short eduvid titled Biodiversity: Wild About Life!

In 2000, he made an 8-episodes appearance in the series Opposite Sex and a single episode of The Fugitive while also starring in the film, The Newcomers.

Best Known For

After starring as the Human Torch/Johnny Storm in the 2005 Marvel film, Fantastic Four and its 2007 sequel, Chris has gone on to star in over 10 MCU movies as Steve Rogers/Captain America.

Outside these, he has also played lead roles in Snowpiercer (2013), Gifted (2017) and Before We Go (2014) which he also produced and directed.

Family

He is the second child of G. Robert III and Lisa Evans with his brother being actor, Scott Evans. He has an elder sister, Carly and a younger one, Shana.

He is a nephew to US Congressman, Mike Capuano.

Religion

Chris was raised in a devout yet free Catholic household but even if he now takes interest in Buddhism philosophies, he has turned out to be a pantheist.
