Daniel Craig has evolved from his days as one of Britain’s finest theatre actors to becoming the highest grossing 007 series actor.

Early Accomplishments

He began acting at age 6, taking part in several school plays in his primary and high school. He also played rugby while in high school.

At 16, he attended the National Youth Theatre and soon made his debut in Troilus and Cressida with his parents in attendance. In 1992, he made his UK film debut in The Power of One.

Best Known For

His name has become one synonymous with the James Bond franchise after taking the role from Pierce Brosnan in 2005. He has appeared in all 5 007 films, including Bond 25 set for release in 2020.

Outside this, he has starred in other films such as Road to Perdition (2002), The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (2011), Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001) and Logan Lucky (2017).

He is the younger child and only son of Timothy and Carol (née Williams) Craig and his sister’s name is Lea Craig. 

He is a stepfather to Rachel’s son, Henry and the father of 2 daughters; Ella (born in 1992 with Fiona) and an infant girl (born 2018) whose name has not been publicly revealed.

Daniel considers himself agnostic and although he prefers to avoid the topic of religion, he reserves his respect for religious folks.
